Following general terms and conditions apply for the relationship between the Amber Online Shop (Andre Berckhoff, Steigerstr. 20,D-59425 Unna) and the customer and are valid respectively in each version at time of order of goods from the current offer.

To these trading conditions and the entire legal relations between the Amber Online Shop and the customer applies the right of the Federal Republic of Germany. The regulations of the UN purchase right do not apply.

For all relations from the contractual, which are resulting in directly and indirectly disputes from the contractual, the exclusive area of jurisdiction remains D-59425 Unna/Germany.

If a regulation stated in these trading conditions or a regulation in context of other agreements should be or become ineffective, does this not affect the effectiveness of all other regulations or agreements stated in this general trading conditions.

All offers are subject to change without notice and deliverable as long as they are available from stock.

Product pictures in the shop are mainly for better orientation. In general we are offering/selling only those articles shown on the pictures. The offered antique books are not automatically new books. The exact preservation condition, as well as the language, in which a offered book is written, are described specifically for each article/picture shown in the shop.

After receipt of order the customer receives a confirmation of order by E-mail or fax, containing his order data and all relevant payment conditions and instructions.

After receipt of your order, you will receive our order confirmation and the payment conditions by e-mail or fax.

All stated and specified prices in the Amber Online Shop are end prices, including the valid value added tax.

All our articles will be shipped against prepayment. Shipment will be made insured and registered. After receipt of payment the order will be dispatched to the address indicated on the order. The goods will be generally shipped within 48 h after receipt of payment.

The price for shipment will be stated in the order confirmation and has to be paid by the customer in addition to the amount of order. The shipping charges are only to be paid once per order.

Shipping charge for registered and insured dispatch to Germany will be: 5,00 Euro

Shipping charge for registered and insured dispatch outside Germany/ other EU states will be: 14,00 Euro

Within 14 days after date of shipment, the customer has the right of redemption of contract and return of articles, without indicating the reasons. In some cases – depending on the articles and circumstances to be indicated separately in the order confirmation - the period of redemption and return begins with receipt of this written instruction at the earliest. For keeping the redemption or return period, the customer is obliged to indicate by E-Mail, fax or letter the return of the goods as soon as possible after receipt of the shipment and before returning the goods. Please understand, that due to the value of the articles, all return shipments must be send back insured and registered.

After receipt of return shipment, which is subject to the right packaging, handling of return shipment by the customer, the customer will receive the prepayment back within 14 days after arrival at the above mentioned address.
